Posted this on live chat. Sir James Radcliffe, Britain’s richest man, was asked today why he bought into Nice rather than Utd, when he’s been a lifelong Reds fan. His answer? 'They are in quite a big pickle as a business.
'They haven't got the manager selection right, haven't bought well. They have been the dumb money, which you see with players like Fred. â€
Not a lot more to say really.
{Ed002's Note - He is a season ticket holder who has repeatedly tried to buy Chelsea.)

Do you blame anyone wanting to buy a business.
The debt is still going up.
Maybe a few years of this garbage will make the owners sell up.

99% of business men would love a debt to turnover ratio like United's bolger. Its a fantastic position to be in i'm not sure you understand the finances.

I do ken we make loads of money but the club could be making more money
That's what I don't understand.

Ken
Yes you are right but when there is debt (leverage) In a business it usually has been spent to improve the business, our debt has done absolutely nothing for the business or club.

The debt is the least of the clubs issues. Frankly owners can do what they like with the money its their club and its in a financially fantastic position. Much better than when they took over.
