The Daily Fail are reporting West Ham will have to sell Ravel Morrison this January. Is this true eds? If so what implications will this have on Manchester United in terms of sell on clauses ( if any)?

Andyp MUFC

{Ed002's Note - No, they do bot have to sell the player.}

1.) The reports I have seen are stating that if a club offers £10 million for Morrison, West Ham have to either sell or dramatically increase his wages, which they might not be able to afford. Hence, the "they may have to sell" stories. Is he worth that sum yet? Not in my opinion

2.) I think the key word there is "yet" Mick B. Do you pay 10m now when he's not worth that, or wait a season and maybe have to pay more. It's about taking a risk, we all know how good he can become, and he seems to have sorted out his problems, so clubs will take that into consideration.

I can't see him returning to OT myself thou.

3.) Morrison is not worth 10m yet, but put him in a team like Swansea and (assuming he knuckles down properly) he'll be worth as much as any attacking midfielder in a couple of years. The saddest story in football, this kid could have been anything he wanted to be, unfortunately that wasn't a world class footballer.

4.) Do you know if the reports on his contract are true Ed? i.e. the having to quadruple his wages if a 10m offer comes in and the release clause of 18m.

{Ed002's Note - It doesn't work like that.}

The tv are saying fallaini will sign before 11pm subject to a medical. Hopefully that's one in the bag another two to go.

Andyp MUFC

1.) Why am I not allowed to say that well know broadcast centres name eds? {Ed007's Note - Why should we give that shower free advertising?}

Expect one final bid for Fabregas tomorrow, no signings will be made tonight.

Andyp MUFC

1.) Why would we waste time bidding for a player we have no chance of getting?! Did you watch the Valencia vs Barcelona game tonight? Barcelona would be insane to sell Fabregas. We may as well put a £25M bid in for Messi while we are at it! He might just fancy trying to keep us in the top half of the table as apposed to having a realistic chance of winning everything with Barca.

2.) I expect nothing from tomorrow. If we do sign someone it will be a bonus but probably will be cheap and average!

3.) Wouldn't waste our time. We can't afford that amount it seems

4.) Peely,
To answer your question nope I didn't watch the game. It is said that a £40 million bid would get Fabregas, but this news is from a few weeks back, so may have changed.

Don't shot the messenger.

5.) That would be very embarrassing if we did, can't see it tbh. Keep the faith, two signings is all we need. The big fella to play a defensive mid role and Herrera for the playmaker role.

Manchester United are in talks for sneijder, this has been confirmed by a tv journalist on twitter. We did have a bid turned down for him two weeks ago.

A rumour which wouldn't be surprising considering the sneijder news, is that PSG are in talks for Kagawa. Anyone heard anything makes concrete on this?

Andyp MUFC

1.) I think it is bs and the journos are going to write up all kind of things in the next 24 hours.

2.) Does this mean my time machine has worked then is it really 2011,,,, im, off to next may to see who wins league cup and cl so I can come back and screw william hill

3.) This is a false twitter rumour I think you'll find

According to respected journalists Andy Mitten, Gareth Bale was offered to the club for £60 million plus Hernandez. Manchester United said no, this were the rumour the other day has come from.

Andyp MUFC

1.) If Andy Mitten says that was the case then it's true. and I'm glad we turned them down!

J - Stand

2.) Utd would not have turned this down 3 rd choice striker and £60 million for bale

3.) Jaimej70, 60 million is too much for Bale let alone Hernandez. I think it is a right decision by the club.

4.) Rubbish. The offer the other day was from Bayern.

5.) Bale isn't worth 60m end of

6.) Bale wants the RM move so why would Spurs offer him to us, it's his decision where he goes.

7.) Some of the fees being talked about for Bale are ridiculous, he just isn't worth any more than £45m.

8.) Spurs now in for Erikson how are they signing players that would walk into our side

9.) Simple jaimej79. Spurs have money to invest, our money has gone to the Glazers. so we have none to spend on players. Moysie has been told to make the right noises!

10.) More rubbish. The Glazers have no restraints on our current transfer activity. United have always negotiated professionally.

You discuss the odd million as if it is nothing. The reason United are such a well run club, with budgets and they look after the pounds.

11.) 29 Aug 2013 11:54:18
Story in the paper this morning that Hernandez is on his way to Spurs. Hopefully it's not true, but if it is, why would they do that? To raise money to buy someone else? If so, he's worth a lot more than £15million.

12.) To raise money to pay up the debt. we're buying no one.

The Fallaini deal only cost £23.5 million. It was However, worth £27.5 million to Everton, this is because fallaini didn't take his loyalty bonus of £4 million.

Andyp MUFC

1.) That tells you a lot about Everton as a club then I guess. It is a shame he paid for our incompetence and hope we destroy them when we play them this year. I have a sneaky feeling my wish may be granted :)

2.) Reports say the deal cost United 27:5 mill, fellaini waved his right to a loyalty bonus as he handed in a transfer request so that saved Everton a bit of cash

Feel sorry for David Moyes, the stick he will get if United crash out early out of competitions, all this becuase Ed Woodward was too stubborn. If rumours are true that he's upset agents and chief executive, then that's only going to make things more difficult in future windows. If United fail to finish in the top for then expect Woodward to lose his job.

Sadly though this will apply a lot of pressure on Moyes, who has not done anything wrong. Theirs not much he can do if players want to play else where. He can only say who he wants at the club the rest is upto Ed. Sir Alex said we need to back are new manager most have done it so far and hopefully most will continue. The board and Ed Woodward haven't done this, Moyes will bare the brunt of this he's now the face of Manchester United, like Sir Alex was. let's not forget that Moyes will be just as disappointed as we are, as will the players. I'm hopefull lessons we be learned from this and it won't happen again.

A rumour I have heard is that we bid for Ronaldo at around 10pm last night. I don't believe it myself, infact I hope its not true, because it shows how desperate thing got in the end.

Ravel Morrison has had a very good pre season, scoring 6 in 5 games. He had raving reviews and an England call up is talked about. It looks like he's finally git his head down and a move to London has done him the world of good. I hope we have a clause to by him back. Anyone now of one? Also City are was again keeping a close eye in him, hopefully we are to.

If he really is a reformed character and proves him self this season, then he should be resigned because this lad will come back to bite us on the backside.

Another one to keep an eye out is Jonathon "Joniesta" Williams at Crystal Palace. He's nickname some him up and he has a lot of potential. He's neat and tide with his passing, has excellent vision, quick, has an eye for goal and loves go forward with the ball at his feet. He's a player we should be keeping a close eye on, and if he does well we should sign him in January and loan him back, much like we did with Zaha.

Andyp MUFC

1.) I don't think anybody doubted that Ravel had quality.

personally I don't think he'll make it at a high level but that's just my opinion.

I'd rather concentrate on how Macheda does at Doncaster than worry about an ex "doesn't know what he threw away" player.

On Williams, he has a bright future but he needs to make sure he has a full season and performs well this year, again I personally think Januzaj, Powell, Will Hughes and Max Clayton are all better players with bigger futures.

The Moon.

2.) I'm pritty sure due to ravels attitude no such clause was placed in the deal but if he can get a few good starts in the first 11 and still looks good in the prem then we should go back for him as he had potential

3.) The Moon,

I have to disagree with you, I think Williams will go onto be a better player than those you said apart from Januzaj. You only have to see his performance against Croatia, in which he was man of the match. He played Modric of the park that night. He has huge potential and would be a good addition to the squad.

Madrid have accepted a bid from Manchester United, but Arsenal are in pole position, United are unwilling to meet Ozils wage demands. It could all change though the deal is still alive.

Tottenham Hotspurs have played this very very well, hold on to the player for as long as possible and strengthen, knowing that over deals may on happen due to this transfer.

He's been transfer listed I really doubt they'd release him just yet.
