Ed, What the situation with Robben and do you think we will sign Cesc Fabregas?

{Ed002's Note - Arjen Robben has been interviewed whilst with the Dutch squad and has made it clear he will continue to play in the Champions League with Bayern Munich and, even if sold, would not join a club not in the CL. When asked, by a Dutch television reporter, about interest from MU, he responded that Manchester United is not an option.

I am not going to speculate about whether or not Manchester United will make an acceptable offer to Barcelona nor whether Fabregas will accept a move to Manchester, but I think there is a very good chance of an offer being made.}

1.) My money is on Strootman, Fabregas & surprise package Schweinsteiger.

2.) Defo Shaw, just a formality now apparently. I think Kroos will be our marquee midfielder. We cannot ignore that huge Robben hint from 002. According to van Der Kraan, Hummels is who LvG wants for CB. I'm sure there will be more than four but:

Shaw - Hummels - Kroos - Robben.

4.) Wish people would understand strootman is injured so CAN not pass a medical this summer,
kroos simple will sign a new contract with munich
fabreggas is loyal and will never join us, he will stay at barca or join arsenal.

5.) I agree with thsoe four Sydney as the 'flagship' signings of the summer. I think LVG would like Strootman, however if Clasie, who is taking his role in the World Cup does well then I wouldn't be too surprised to see him. I could also see a move for Indi as an extra center back and also a new right back? Jung from Frankfurt maybe, or perhaps Janmaat.

6.) I think we only need 5 top class signings and in an ideal world they would be;

Shaw, Hummels, Kroos, Vidal and Reus.

If we get anywhere close to that, we will be set up perfectly for the season and only have to add one or two in the coming windows, with the youth coming through too. Could probably just afford all that, if we really do have the reported 200m. Fingers crossed! haha

What is the situation with Rues, Shaw, Kroos and tbh Kevin Strootman*** isn't the player that will transform our midfield to a world class one.
Ed could you shine some light on these players.
