Vitek was fantastic, no judgement of any other players really at this point due to the fitness levels but I think Ethan Ennis has probably earned himself a place on the tour.

Vitek very good. No issues with him being a number 2. Collyer decent. Amass decent going forward, but defensively all over the place. The rest were a bit meh.

I know the usual caveats apply for a game at this stage of pre-season, but it was pretty poor.

It was refreshing to see ETH call it out as not being acceptable, rather than the usual 'it's all about fitness' stuff they usually come out with.

Good one- on a serious note hoped Mount would have come away with a good performance under his belt, see he got very moxed reviews not stand out at all - needs to impress in these pre seasons - big season for him this year.

Not sure that’s the correct attitude, I’d pay no attention to the result but a lot can be learnt about how players equip themselves in games like this, whether they have the correct attitude and if any of the younger players have the ability to step up. I think there are a couple that will have shown ETH yesterday that they aren’t going to make it based on their attitude.

The 2nd half was an extremely young team but first half wasn’t just young lads, it was really all just about fitness but I hope the management team pay some attention to some of the performances.

Hugely important fixtures. Not for the result but for a variety of reasons as you say gds.
Once we have all players and new ones back and the real stuff starts.

I think I’d give Vitek a chance as number 2 yes, if he was confident enough to do it. He’s talented enough. We have Heaton too if things don’t work out.

If you are good enough and confident enough then age isn’t so much of an issue.
