Spot on shan. If people are not moaning about jose they are moaning about people moaning about jose.
He knows what he is doing.
He needs to be fighting with someone to be happy. Tbis weeks its the fans next week it will be the fa orthe press or the refs or some pundit. He loves a siege mentality.
Fans pay their money if the boo or moan you can't expect him not to reply. I say good for him stick 2 fingers up at the begrudgers even if they are united fans. He won't keep all fans happy no matter what he does.

actually shan he is the one commenting, no one mentioned lukaku's slump until mourinho opened his big mouth, neither fans nor media were concerned, he made sure everyone now is concerned, no one booed lukaku at best it was a groan for him not chasing the ball which worked because listening to it lukaku actually put in the effort. He made sure everyone now is talking about it not the fans. People will get off his back if he starts to do his job rather than making a scene about everything he sees or hears.
This is exactly why there were reports about likes of sir bobby not wanting jose at utd, he is big drama queen who can't work without creating some sort of controversy.

He has done this many times before. He puts the Spotlight on him. He is protecting the players, there has been a slump and he knows negative attention from the media on them won't help. The Media has to be attacking united, always has. So he gives them a story rather than running something else more distracting and destructive to the morale of our players.
He is the master of the media. He is a great manager. Our style has gone backwards however this is our strongest season in some years. Losing Pogba has had a massively negative effect. wasn't seen right away but its been apparent more recently.

We had just beat spurs . a very good spurs who have just stuffed Madrid.
I think the media attention was positive .
Jose has done this before to take attention of the players but he has also done this before he falls out with everyone.

I must admit I was at the game and slightly frustrated when Rashford came off. I thought he'd looked our most dangerous player, Lukaku up to that point had done nothing all afternoon. I'd have took Lukaku off!
I was WRONG, Jose got it RIGHT, I don't mind being told to SHUT my mouth, just a polite reminder who's the expert and multiple title winner and maybe we (I) need to show a bit more faith and patience.
