I'm a poster who's been reading the site for at least 6/7 years and decided to start posting, only to find if you're not a regular name your posts don't get posted, just thought i'd see if this one does and hey what do you know, a post insulting Lord 002 gets posted. Can't say anything bad about 002 because he/she/it might not post information on this page anymore so everyone sucks up to him/her. Where deep down you know that the responses she/he gives is just not acceptable, yeah the sites free and what not, but really off putting to new readers when there's a editor on a constant high horse,

D Pie, I was in an anatomy lecture earlier today and they covered a very interesting point which seems so appropriate right now.

When an embryo developers in the uterus one of the first things to develope is the sphincter. Based on your post above it is clear that you seem to be developmentally stunted and stuck at that early stage of development. We can only hope that you grow up soon and learn about cell division. Then hopefully you will develope into a fully formed human being who might then be able to contribute something worthwhile to this site.

I believe it's more that the eds get sick of tedious questions they have answered repeatedly, which by the way they don't have to it's their time they dedicate to talking with us, and they are prob sick of the abuse they get when an idiot fan doesn't get their way, we don't see the abuse that gets posted as the eds edit it out.

In all fairness, the frustration of not getting info from EdOO2 is real and everyone here is totally sick of that. If anyone denies it, you know what you're doing.
If a teacher started to stop teaching because some students didn't appreciate it, what would come of this world! So, excluding the part of calling our highly respected EdOO2 a 'cock' I think everyone else would share D PIE's opinion. We visit this site to get info, the site was created to give that platform and Eds get satisfaction from sharing that info. Its mutual. Barring some trolls, everyone accepts that. So, if the whole point of coming to this site and getting the knowledge not available anywhere else doesn't exist anymore, there is no point running this site. EdOO2, if you really believed in sharing your immense knowledge, there is no point why you would not share info regarding United. If you thought there was some point in doing that, good luck with that.
Fair enough that you don't deserve some abuse you get.
I can't imagine if there was a place in this world where you could get away from trolls, though.

Redatheart, teachers get paid to teach kids, no matter how thick or uninterested they are, including you and D Head. The eds don't get paid, if they get anything, it's not worth the shit they get on here! My wife is a teacher and some of the things I show her on here, she is shocked with. She teaches 7 year olds, most of who have better spelling than some of the morons on here lately!

Brendan81, if you think the whole point of starting this awesome place is was to later repent having the trolls on say what not then you've lost the gist mate. This is one holy place where Eds selflessly give out info because its a passion they have. Why not ban the trolls and move on? Why everyone else suffers for that mate? That's my point. We could also form one system where people could vote if someone was being such a pain and disruptive. We can then kick them out. Finally an interesting debate on here. It's been a while!

I agree entirely that ED002 no longer posting on this site is frustrating and has had a serious and direct impact on the quality of the site.

That being said; all of the ED's do what they do on an entirely voluntary basis and if ED002 no longer wants to post transfer info on this page that's entirely her call. I'd always thought that she was a little touchy - but if this post is anything to go by I can't say I blame her for taking a break from the United page.

It's a shame that she can't look past the minority of idiots on here - and provide info for the community of people who are here to debate our great club and find out a little more about potential comings and goings - but that's her call and I respect that (even if I don't necessarily agree with it).

I think we all agree that we miss ed 002s's insight (hopefully this is not seen as a slight by the other eds). However, childish name calling and downright bad manners by a minority have caused this situation. Ed 002 has my full support in their decision to boycott us. Redatheart, I agree that the majority shouldn't suffer for a minority, but as everywhere in the world, this is the case, why should the eds accept anything less? The eds do a great job, and as they have a passion for football, they do it for little or no benefit to themselves. Therefore the least they should expect is respect and manners from people using THEIR site. It is a huge shame that ed002 has been treated like shit, by the minority, which has made him/her leave us, but we need to accept that we have a problem with fuckwits and move on.

There is no way I would have put up with it for as long as ed002. I have zero tolerance when it comes to arse holes and despise the minority scum that ruin this great world, not just this site, for all the decent, honest and wonderful people. Rant over!
