Just watching Valencia v Athletico and Gary Neville has shown more passion in 2 minutes than Lvg And Giggs have in 2 seasons. (That's excluding Giggs and anyone's wife)

1.) 06 Mar 2016 21:14:39
Passion doesn't equal performances unfortunately.

2.) 06 Mar 2016 22:09:42
A bold move by G Nev but ultimately should have taken the Fulham io which was apparently offered him. Nice club, bit of cash, speak English and build your reputation. Taking on a basket case in Spain always going to be tough. Fair play to him and will be a great experience but not the answer for us just yet. Neither is Giggs for that matter either.

3.) 07 Mar 2016 08:22:20
The only reason neville took the valencia job is because of his mate lim. I think he already said he doesn't see his long term future in managing. Or unless he thinks he thinks with a bit of experience he might be in with a better chance than giggs for the job with us after lvg goes.

06 Mar 2016 18:08:48
I think that Matas foolishness will come back to hit him hard. 4th will probably now be gone. Lvg will probably now be gone (towards the end of the season) Mourinho will probably now be coming in ( if he wasn't already) meaning Mata will probably be gone.
I've never really got carried away lately as the only decent team we've beat is Arsenal. i'm afraid we're on a downward spiral, after poor appointments and terrible transfer dealings. It seems very similar to the 70s, Sir Matt sat in the stands watching his empire crumble ( now Sir Alex) . Really hope the next manager is the right one. For me it's Mourinho as this is now a massive job, not the time for a sentimental gamble. I honestly believe that Gary Neville will learn the game pretty quick and prove that he may be worth a chance in a few years. Hope I'm wrong on all counts and Lvg brings us 4th and 2 cups.

1.) 06 Mar 2016 18:24:43
Fergie crumbled his own empire.

2.) 06 Mar 2016 19:02:22
Yes partdingle, but he did it and left us as champions!

3.) 06 Mar 2016 19:57:49
Partdingle: Fishing I assume? or clueless?

Hi Ed
Do you know a rough timescale for all the injured players to be available again?

{Ed007's Note - Have a gander HERE. It's not 100% but it'll give you a general idea buddy.}

1.) 13 Dec 2015 22:54:53
Just looked at that Ed, surely its wrong, Phil Jones ain't in there.

{Ed007's Note - I don't think breast augmentation is classed as an injury mate, did you see the size of his moobs yesterday? I know woman that don't even pack that much!}

2.) 14 Dec 2015 00:20:39
Maybe he should grow feet out those moobs so that when he falls over he can keep running.

{Ed007's Note - I don't know, if Ed002 ran she'd give herself a couple of black eyes so God knows what damage Jones would do with feet there - he'd probably get more use of them there than at the end of his legs right enough.}

13 Dec 2015 18:30:45
Another good display from Fletcher and Evans and a Chico hat trick.

1.) 13 Dec 2015 19:52:34
So we shouldn't have sold them? The abuse Evans and Hernandez were getting on here was huge. Are you now saying they would be in our team. How about Cleverly, he played well yesterday.

2.) 13 Dec 2015 20:18:58
I defended Hernandez a lot on here. He was unlucky as he hardly got a run in the team and was given 5-10 mins every 3-4 games. When you spend £29 million in RVP and have Rooney there as well. Throw in the home grown Wellbeck it was always going to be difficult from that point onwards.

I'm glad he is doing well. The abuse he received on here was harsh and unjustified. He spent most of his time on the training pitch, so to expect him to be match sharp etc was always going to be tough. You can't substitute training with time on the pitch.

3.) 13 Dec 2015 20:56:53
They haven't been replaced by anyone better and Cleverly can pass it sideways better than anyone.

4.) 13 Dec 2015 22:07:26
I'm not saying he should have stayed, though I can't think of too many better than him in the team at the minute. But I'm chuffed to bits that Evans is doing well.

So many players leave our club, and whether or not it's a psychological thing taking a step down, they seem to struggle.

He's a good lad, and a decent player, who I thought deserved better than he got on here.

5.) 13 Dec 2015 22:17:27
he is a better cb than blind, rojo or jones.
i still think jones could be a decent player if he could get a full season injury free in.

6.) 13 Dec 2015 22:41:11
It's a team game. Chicharito would probably not have been scoring for us, because we wouldn't have been creating the chances for him. In retrospect we could have done with keeping Evans, but let's face it he'd been playing very poorly, giving the ball away in terrible positions, and had spent a lot of time injured. Meanwhile while Cleverley is performing quite well at Everton, that's as much to with the style as anything. He's still not what United quality should entail, and while Everton are good they are hardly lighting up the league; their much vaunted defence with Stones, Jagielka and Coleman has conceded 9 more goals than our pathetic one.

{Ed025's Note - thanks for pointing that out shaw...i have a nasty cut on my hand if you fancy rubbing some salt on it mate..

7.) 14 Dec 2015 01:49:24
Well Ed, I'm a kind person and wouldn't dream of doing something like that. It was the unintended consequences of pointing out to our whining red army that sometimes the other man's grass is not greener. May all be healed.

{Ed025's Note - i know that mate.. :)

30 Nov 2015 18:36:07
Do posters on here watch the games that involves the big foreign names they cry out for each week. Aymeric Laporte was shocking last week, scoring an own goal and giving the ball away for another. On the other hand, Johnie Evans proved he's not as bad as he's made out to be on here, given a run of games. It's not as easy as it might seem, although I do think Lvg has made a poor job of it up yo now.

1.) 01 Dec 2015 12:02:01
I agree, Porche993.

With a squad full of dross, why not sign another, if we can beat Bayern and Barcelona to his signature.

Agree entirely. We might also be able to keep De Gea and Martial, otherwise I think they'll both be on there way, before too long. We're miles behind Madrid, Barcelona and Munich, it's time to stop kidding ourselves otherwise. Another season of Lvg and we'll fall even further!

A swap at the end of the season for Stones sounds good to me. Don't know if Martinez will see it that way

You need the right players for 4-4-2.
Imagine if we'd have been able to sign Gerrard and Lampard, we'd have had the best midfield in the world:
Beckham. Keane Scholes Giggs.

Marcellus back to becoming a regular poster again, now Chelsea are back at the top. Where were you last season?

Chelsea back near the top and surprise, surprise, Marcellus crawls out from under the stone he's been hiding.
