Klopp anyone?

Doozer

1.) Kkopp should've been first choice!

I know we've had a bad window but if we do get Herrera, Fellaini and Baines we will have sorted out the main problems within the team.

Rooney--------RVP-------Januzaj
--------------Kagawa-------------
-------Herrera----Carrick--------
Baines----Vidic----Rio----Rafael
----------------DDG--------------

Look at that team! It has class through out!!

Doozer

1.) No Fellaini? Plus not so sure Baines is coming.

2.) We will not buy Fellaini to sit him on the bench. I think he will start off in central midfield and when we need a goal he will be in the hole. Rooney is no winger now his pace has gone. Januzaj will play in the U21's.

3.) Januzaj isn't quite ready for such a big step up. I fully expect him to get about 7-10 appearances this season but he'll by no means be a regular. I do like the formation though, i've said that it's the best way to utilize Rooney, RvP and Kagawa in the same line up quite a few times over the last year. We're more likely to see a front three of any of RvP, Rooney, Welbeck, Hernandez, Zaha and Nani. I believe our strongest front 3 would be Hernandez in a traditional strikers role, RvP slightly to the right and Rooney in a slightly freer role on the left to drop a bit deeper and help disrupt opposition attacks with Kagawa.

4.) Herrera will replace Carrick over the coming seasons. Fellaini will be a guaranteed starter with Carrick and Herrera sharing the other deep lying mid berth this season.

5.) I love that line up and the inclusion of Januzaj. He could be a revaluation this season, but judging Moyes on previous squad line ups, I doubt him getting bench time let alone game time, it sucks so much when Giggs and Clev keep getting game time ahead of Zaha and Adnan.

But this is the reality. Moyes isn't known for his development of youth is he.

6.) Redseven, Herrera is a creative midfielder. I would imagine Fellaini is the long-term replacement for Carrick. Herrera to replace Cleverley immediately.

7.) Herrera is a box to box cm very good defensive qualities

8.) Jred, I have watched Herrera and he is a creative midfielder just like he has been described everywhere else. He likes to get up and down the field and he does stick a foot in. I am not calling him a deep lying playmaker, so not sure what you are getting at. He is an alternative to Cesc Fabregas, that is pretty obvious. Even for you.

Garay, Di Maria & Strootman were all SAF targets. I thought we would keep the same targets at the time of the manager change, but that quickly became unlikely when our interest in Fellaini became more obvious and then Strootman joined Roma unchallenged by us. When we made a bid for Cesc it was obvious the players Moyes wanted was Cesc (a creative mid), Fellaini (muscle) and Baines. But you said the club were going to go for Cesc or Fellaini.

Well you were wrong wasn't you?

9.) Syd
No his not the defensive part of his game is very good, I don't believe you have seen that much of him .
Let's just wait and see if we sign him and u actually see him play

10.) Syd
I've no issue with being wrong I don't pretend to be in the know.
So in short you thought strootman etc were on the way then you changed your mind .
But yet you claim fellaini was plan a like I said classless pal always an excuse can't admit being wrong

11.) Jred, it's not rocket science. We changed manager therefore targets changed. So of course I changed my mind. Circumstances change, therefore opinions have to change with them. We are talking about Moyes' targets and myself and HoneyBadger believed Cesc, Fellaini and Baines were his targets. We were correct. They may not all sign, but the fact remains Moyes wanted a Cesc and Fellaini, not one or the other.

Wow redseven, we've finally got a player that could be one of the world's best AND wants to stay for the rest of his carreer and you want to swap him for players who don't even want to play for us.

Plus either of the players suggested could break their legs!

Completly agree with Mad Hatter, prodigal7 you are a joke, give the lad a chance. Even in the game he played he showed more then Nani has for the last two seasons!

Sums it all up, Woodward needs to be left to do what he's good at (getting sponsorship NOT signing new players.

Hold out for Gundogan, but wouldn't mind both. maybe that's too many midfielders but if we sold Fellaini we could make room ;P

Completely agree no midfield.

We are SO boring and predictable ATM it's unbelievable. Zaha and Kags would bring some much needed creation to our team but even with them playing Moyes seems to want us to play long ball super safe three touch's then pass left and right football. Wrong man for the job imo.

Also wouldn't be worried about Carrick's contract he loves playing for United and I can see him retiring here.

Stop saying things are smoke screens! We have bid for everyone and their mothers this summer, Woodward does not have the inteligence to pull off a simple transfer (Fellaini before his buy-out dissapeared) let alone a smoke-screen!
