i would be surprised to see ADM leave .

2.) 28 Jun 2015 18:40:09
I wouldn't mind Cavani for the right price but he will be more than likely overpriced

3.) 28 Jun 2015 18:46:39
You'll never get a straight swap with 2 stars as long as you've got a hole in your bum. I can't understand these lazy journo's.

4.) 28 Jun 2015 19:44:12
I think if this rumour was true from the press (I don't believe it by the way) Cavani would have the same issue he has at PSG in that he wouldn't be played as the main striker. All signs so far point to a 433/451 formation with the 2 wide men supporting Rooney.

5.) 28 Jun 2015 20:55:45
I don't rate Cavani, frankly except for zaltan I don't rate any striker that went to France for money got bored and want to leave, they all not same players no more

The deal would certainly suit us. With no cash changing hands there won't be a figure for just how much we wasted on Di Maria (Ie, if we sold him for £40m we'd have blown £20m).

If he wants to leave - let him go.

There's no way that Cavani is worth the £60m that we paid for Di Maria; but conversely - there's no way that Di Maria was worth the £60m that we paid for him. I'd value them both somewhere around the £40m mark - and with that in mind it wouldn't be a bad deal for either club. There's no way that Cavani could do any worse for us than Di Maria did last season.

Don't see it happening though, mind.

Di maria will come good again next season, United fans on here seem to forget how well he played when he first came, he'll get back to that if lvg gives him some confidence

I don't recall a good ninety minutes that he played in a red shirt, Pepgiggs. There were a few flashes of brilliance here and there but for the most part he was terrible. Even in games where he did something of note there were plenty of times in the same game where he misplaced a pass or gave the ball away needlessly. I recall at least two of his assists in the early part of the season being incredibly poor shots that were going wide (to the point where they would probably have gone for throw ins). That they both happened to fall for Mata doesn't make the initial shot any less abysmal. One of his goals was a freekick that missed all of our players and wrong-footed the keeper. The only moment of real quality I can point to is the goal against Leicester - but one great moment against a poor team in a game that we ultimately lost is a lot less than I would expect from a £10m signing - let alone a £60m signing!

redseven, give it a break mate.

For 60 million it is like buying into a ponzi scheme by your broker.

Question to Ed002 or any ED of knowledge.

regarding the "martial" saga, now I know we paying £36 mil, which everyone agree is crazy money for a 19 year old from french league, but I wanted ot understand the process, is it like MAN U went to them and was like here £36 mil and they agreed.

or is it like we pay you 10 they ask 50 and go down to 36?

because I find it extremely hard to believe that they refuse to sell for anything less than £36 mil for a 19 year old who didn't prove himself in french league let alone PL.

Tikreity

{Ed002's Note - The asking price was an astonishing €50M and they would not sell for less. Chelsea were looking to pay circa €20M hence they walked away.}

Ed are you talking in euros or pounds?

{Ed002's Note - euros.}

Question the the EDs.

How many if any home grown players will be joining main team? or from the U21 that we followed last year?

I mean last year we had some 7 players or so in first team in and out do we have anyone coming on permanent?

Tikreity

{Ed004's Note - no idea how I could answer this}

1.) 08 Jul 2015 19:04:51
Crystal ball?

2.) 08 Jul 2015 19:42:05

we have the best midfielders in the league and Maroune fillaini still not back. this is NOT what we need.

we need striker, we need one of the TOP 5 strikers in the world, if messi - suarez - ronaldo - ibra are 4 of the best strikers and goal scorers in the world then we need the 5th one of not one of them.

Turan is world class and strong build would fit perfect for PL and for us
