Pogba absolutely running this game. Also Martial is going nowhere.

Pogba was on a different planet last night, pleasure to watch him. That pass from the right down the left wing for Shaw was one of the best passes I have ever seen.

He now has more assists than anyone else in the top 5 european leagues this season and he was out injured / suspended. There are still some that don't realise how good he is and how much we missed him when he was out, he is pivotal to our team and our success.

So Gary Neville thinks City will come in with a higher offer for Sanchez simply because they only have Aguero up top at the moment and in the summer they would have to pay a lot more for an equal replacement. In other words it makes good sense from a team and economic perspective, and it would also prevent United from acquiring a great player at a relatively low cost.

I am not sure if i am happy that pep has lost or devastated that the cartoon klopp has won. We just don't have the players to play that way.

Not yet Shan. 😂.

14 Jan 2018 18:40:36
Or the manager?

14 Jan 2018 18:50:42
Yeah Ken, sent in the post a little too soon. But it turned out to be right in the end😁😁.

14 Jan 2018 20:54:36
Shan that is the problem. United spend, spend, spend without a any sort of plan. In my opinion the players should be able to play that way so from that perspective the manager needs to rethink his philosophy.

In terms of recruitment look at Pep. He has spent cash at City but has had a plan, built a team to pay the way he wants to play and has not looked back. United have filled gaps. It is funny as Maze does not see any of the ‘Pep the Messiah’ jokes now because he is embarrassing Man Utd.

14 Jan 2018 22:13:44
I certainly don’t feel embarrassed, win tomorrow we are 12 points behind the best points total in history, a couple of results went the other way and we would be challenging, not too far off and not sure how that can be called embarrassing unless you’re trying to cause arguments but it can’t be that.

15 Jan 2018 00:57:51
It was 18 po8nts recently so who knows. I'll be interested to see how it affects them. That will be the clear sign as to whether they will be champions or not.

15 Jan 2018 08:59:13
Agree GDS, everyone writing it off already, there is a long long way to go.

City will probably win it, but they haven't just yet.

15 Jan 2018 16:09:23
So we shouldn't be spending willy nilly, and should have some sort of a plan.
Yet we should also throw that plan out the window and sign Sanchez regardless of whether he is part of the plan or not, because fans want him?
Make your mind up.

14 Jan 2018 17:27:27
All credit to Liverpool but who would have thought attacking a shaking defence might bring about some goals.

14 Jan 2018 22:26:49
As long as you score one more than your opponent eh?

14 Jan 2018 12:54:56
So Man City and Pep are being portrayed as the Paragons of football where as Man Utd and Jose are the villains using money to buy success.

Does anyone else feel Utd are at centre of a negative press agenda? Or a we bringing upon ourselves with Jose and our negative performances against rivals?

I hear an example today when the Sunday Sup group said Conte had won the war of words and Jose got personal mentioning match fixing. in reality Conte called Jose senile and has drawn his last 3 games, would that not say Jose won?

Also all this business that Sanchez must choose City for the chance of winning things and playing for Pep (who didn’t exactly get on at Barca) .

Seems like there is an agenda to me.

The facts are that a good manager is getting good performances from a team bought with outside investment, struggle to fill their stadium and are essential fiancially doping their way to success.

United always are the villains, always slated by the press, MOTD commentators are usually anti United.
No one likes us, we don't care.

14 Jan 2018 20:26:12
Man Utd are in the press and media all the time becos of the status and fan base of the club and with that, there will always be negative press whether justified or not as they need something to wrote about!

14 Jan 2018 20:55:12
No it is what it is. It is realism.

14 Jan 2018 11:21:40
Hi guys

I've just heard on Sky that Sanchez has not travelled with Arsenal so maybe a conclusion one way or another is not too far away.

13 Jan 2018 20:20:21
Just read betting is suspended on Sanchez to us.

13 Jan 2018 20:26:42
Still alive and kicking on the exchange.

Utd 1.9
City 2.52.

14 Jan 2018 12:07:19
Utd 1.35
City 3.5

Been a lot of bets on utd. Also with Sanchez not travelling something must be coming out soon.

13 Jan 2018 13:52:22

Ed any truth that United have an interest in neymar, or just more rubbish from the papers.

{Ed002's Note - Mourinho wanted Neymar at Real Madrid and at Chelsea, but no.}

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 18:11:10

If neymar is sold in few seasons how much do you think he goes for?

13 Jan 2018 19:15:08
Who would you buy neymar or Kane.

14 Jan 2018 11:19:15
Neymar.

14 Jan 2018 13:58:28
Kane.

13 Jan 2018 17:50:37

The Manager merry go round looks like it might be fun this summer. I think Zidane will get sacked which makes him available and also opens up the Madrid job. Conte looks likely to move on opening up another big job and if PSG don’t win the Champions League then I think there will be a vacancy there as well. Ancelotti is available, Allegri could move, Madrid may look to Poch, PSG may look to Jose. I think it will be as interesting as player moves this coming Summer.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 18:19:19

Zidane will be lucky to make it to the summer, beat again today .

They don't look quite as good when Ronaldo isn't banging them in . 4 league goals this season for 94 shots, what's going on there?

14 Jan 2018 11:24:15
For me madrid have made a massive error in not adding to their squad significantly over the last 3 years.
Players become over familiar and become complacent.
When your winning its the best time to add 1 or 2 new faces to increase competition and to keep things fresh.
They now have 4 or 5 players that all need replacing at the same time.
Lazy and complacent I think that's what's wrong. Even winning players need to be kept on their toes.
Conte will end up at psg and I think zidane will stay and do the initial rebuild.

13 Jan 2018 14:37:42
Just to get away from the tedium of incoming transfers thought i'd ask about sales.

We currently have Bailly, Lindelof, Rojo, Jones, Smalling, Blind who are all capable of playing at centre back.

If you could sell one who would you sell?

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2018 15:04:37
Smalling ang blind. Bailly n Jones are first choice with Lindelof n Rojo providing cover for rb and lb as well.

13 Jan 2018 17:45:17
Smalling, blind and rojo. Get a major upgrade who can lead and remain fit most of the time and promote tuanzebe. Cannot believe tuanzebe hasn't featured more this season, would have been perfect to set him up as a squad player for next season.

{Ed004's Note - I'm not sure I would sell Smalling. He always performs for us}

13 Jan 2018 18:19:59
Dont know ed never liked smalling. Defends with his hands, bad positioning and sometimes awful decision making. Never seen him play well against quality forwards but credit to mourinho and his playing style our defensive record has been good.
Mourinho normally likes high quality imposing defenders who don't need midfielders to protect them all the time. Bailly and jones if fit are in that category and can see tuanzebe there in the future for now.
My biggest disappointment has been the midfield not being aggressive enough against high quality opponents.

13 Jan 2018 19:06:31
I'd get rid of smelling and blind. Blind Is clear cut for me but I agree with the ed Smelling defends well. My issue is his distribution. I would like someone with a bit more ability on the ball for us as we should have much more of the ball. I'm slightly hypocritical because I'm s centre half who's distribution is poor but then again I'm a 35 year old playing in the second division of the Lancashire amateur league.

14 Jan 2018 02:27:03
I'd be minded to keep Blind, if only for his versatility. And his beautiful hair.

14 Jan 2018 20:09:38
I forgot to add I also have beautiful hair so for that reason Blind should stay.
