Good morning ed002
Have Utd shown any interest in defender Ozan Kabak?
Thanks for your time.

wiggy677

{Ed002's Note - Ozan Kabak is a young centre back who has signed a new contract with Galatasaray so any immediate move is unlikely - and to boost his value - but much is expected of Kabak and he has attracted scouts from Manchester City, RB Leipzig, Arsenal, Fortuna Dusseldorf, Manchester United and, in particular, Inter Milan whose interest (together with Manchester City) led to the new contract. Should stay where he is or look to Germany - otherwise he would be lost at any English side.}

hey eds, a name I don't recall seeing mentioned on here, sorry if he has, is Antonio rudiger, do you know if we have any interest in signing him?cheers ed.

wiggy677

{Ed002's Note - There was interest a while back - I don't know if any remains.}

hi ed's, a few weeks back I seem to remember you mentioning that utd and a few other clubs were interested in jordie classie, is interest in him still there? Also has anything changed with regards to Memphis Depay? thanks for your time.

wiggy677

{Ed002's Note - Forget Depay - he will move elsewhere, perhaps as early as this week.}

1.) Thats a bit of a quick change from your reply on the earlier post eds.
Depay is a genuine option?

{Ed002's Note - It should have said Clasie.}

2.) Sorry eds. but is it clasie that's a genuine option? Cheers

{Ed002's Note - Depay.}

3.) 04 Aug 2014 21:34:32
Is there any truth in depay moving to Milan after he was spotted there taking pictures with fans whilst wearing a Milan shirt?

{Ed002's Note - Give me a break.}

hey ed's is there really anything in this rumour about Evra and a potential move to Juventus?

wiggy677

{Ed002's Note - There has been interest.]

Hi ed's we've been linked with Enzo Perez recently, do utd have any interest in him or is it just paper talk again?

wiggy677

{Ed002's Note - I really don't know.}

1.) Superb player, I would think that he is going to make the Argentinian World Cup squad which will get a lot of interest. CSKA bid in January but that was turned down and his buyout clause is apparently 30 million Euros. Could he be the passer to play alongside William Carvalho?

Hey ed001 i'd love to hear your thoughts on Bournemouths David Brooks, I've watched him at sheff utd last season and now at Bournemouth and have been really impressed with him, he's quick in movement and in mind, can finish, isn't shabby defensively, can put his foot in and is suprisingly very strong on the ball, be good to get your view on him as i love reading your player reviews, cheers.

wiggy677

{Ed001's Note - I have added him to the profile list, I have seen quite a bit of him over the years, even as a kid at Man City, when he was seen as too lightweight for the English game.}

1.) 04 Nov 2018 22:28:32
Been very impressed with him wiggy. Very cultured on the ball. Seems to have the perfect manager in Howe for his development at this early and critica stage of his career. Still has a lot to learn but if he keeps his head down at Bournemouth and keeps on improving and learning, then I don’t see why he can’t make a move to bigger and better things.

Hey Ed002,

Just wondering if you have any information on Timothy Fosu-Mensah and whether the club plan to use him in the 1st team squad or send him on loan again? Thanks for your time.

wiggy677

{Ed002's Note - Timothy Fosu-Mensah would not be first choice so he has to bide his time and look for a loan. Valencia were interested in having join to try for the RB position with Montoya after Cancelo came and went and Vidal not been seen as good enough, but they would not want a loan.}

1.) 29 Jun 2018 12:58:51
Thanks for your reply, one more question if that's ok, has there been any interest in Juan Mata and would the club be willing to sell him? thanks again.

{Ed002's Note - He was considered by Real Madrid earlier in the year but they have a solution for that problem now. Barcelona has Mata on a list of players that could see one as an unlikely arrival, but he isn’t first choice.}

hi ed002, apologies if this has been answered but can I ask what happened in the January transfer window regarding lindelof. Was it as simple as utd being happy with their options until the summer?

wiggy677

{Ed002's Note - THe price changed and no agreement was reached.}

excellent performance last night, everyones mentioned the obvious players however the man who allowed it all to tick has'nt really had a mention, Phil Jones. i'm not just baseing my comment on last nights performance it seems everytime he plays in midfield we look so much more solid, i'm not suggesting he is the answer because long term I see him as a central defender, however as happened last night whoever is playing next to him needs to drive us forward and be quick on the ball, I think this has been our problem when carrick/cleverley/fellaini have played and the only person who has done this is giggs so I see no reason to change anything against spurs and that includes leaving kagawa in the hole but maybe swaping nani for januzaj.

Henderson does look a great keeper in the making but if ddg leaves its a big risk to throw him straight into the 1st team, it is tempting because the last thing I want to see is him leave looking for 1st team football, if ddg does leave maybe give romero next season as number 1,grant number 2 or 3 and vgive Henderson a prem loan so he has got prem experience.

With darmian likely leaving and dalot and valencia injured i'm guessing we'll have to play tuanzebe lindeloff at right back?

ed001 remember Julius agahowa, nigerian wonder kid on champ manager, wonder what happened to him. Jonas lunden Swedish u21 from around 01/ 02 is another.

wiggy677

{Ed001's Note - did Agahowa not play for Poland and flop badly in competitive games?}

I can't see Forster beinganywhere near good enough, his footwork is that of a stumbling elephant as is his movement in general, for such a big keeper he's bang average at set pieces, i'd compare him to a slightly better mignolet. the only keeper playing in the prem who might be available who imo is good enough is schmeichel. e.

good post Caolan, out of that group of young lads I can only see garner or chong starting but hopefully we see gomes and greenwood as well, like you said i'm not expecting too much result wise just a fully commited effort from the lads.

I agree on young red man and i would be tempted to play dalot, however I'm not sure he's ready to play in a game so big. Another choice to make is do we stick with smalling or being back jones? I'd probably stick with smalling although their ariel threat won't be massive, smalling Jones and bailly all seem to have a habit of going off their feet in the penalty area and that will be tested today, smalling just gets the nod from me. Overall my prediction will be a draw, 1.1.

Not just jones I think he made too many changes in general, did the same against reading, said before the game mata and lukaku would slow the attack and so it proved. Was good to see we kept going until the end.

I'm getting the feeling mighty reds is starting to get a bit worried about a certain fixture that's approaching.

where are you travelling from BIG V? The only time I drove up I stopped at the premier inn next to the stadium which is ideal as long as you can stay overnight otherwise I always get the train into Piccadilly then grab a taxi or hop on the metro, its much easier than driving up mate.
