Dalot and Rashford have to be dropped. No coincidence that our running stats are so far down again now he's back.
If we have to keep him then he should be sub until he's prooved himself.
I'd give Amass a run, at least he'll put the effort in. Yoro right back. Cunha left, Lacey right and Mbuemo up top until Sesko fit.
Hopefully Baleba will hit the ground running, it's a big ask though.
What a thoroughly disappointing start to the season. We look way off it.
I know it's not all down to Carrick but starting to lose confidence that he's capable of sorting this s**t show out.

Some will disagree but Carrick has to go now, before it’s too late.
The team is so slow and lazy. Not surprising really as carrick doesnt come across as someone that can motivate anybody.
They need to act fast before its too late. Much more of this and the season will already be over.
I said in the chat during the game, if it was me, I’d go and get Emery from Villa.
The club wont of course. They will stick with Mr Dull until xmas and then appoint who ever is cheap and wont argue with the board.

Carrick maintaining his 1pt per game output.
His substitutions were mind boggling.
Carrick at the wheel!

I'd have liked to have seen Lacey, but what else would you have done?
20 Sep 2026 18:14:36
Seen this performance to many times for my liking. We all know the story. Those performances just before the manager got sacked. I’ll be very surprised if Carrick is in the dugout v Tottenham.

Utd - spurs shaping up to be a real 6 pointer.
20 Sep 2026 18:22:51
I think thag goal saves him a bit longer unfortunately.

Remember when we got completely done by hull on day 1 and people said we were over reacting and utd would come back strong
Good times

I said it a hundred times in the summer: Mainoo and Tielemans can NEVER work as a midfield two. Can’t tackle, can’t cover ground quickly enough, awful out of possession.
The lack of pace in our side is frightening. We must surely be the slowest side in the PL? Rashford aside, not one single player in our squad has express pace.
It’s embarrassing. Carrick out.
20 Sep 2026 18:55:06
Who else cqn play. Baleba is crocked, mount has legs made of poppadoms and carrick doesnt trust santos
20 Sep 2026 17:09:04
Have we even 1 player on the pitch who can give others a bollocking to wake up, get stuck in, etc. We had Keane, Rio, Schemical, neville, etc before now we have no one, its all sorry, hand up, that's fine but no worries. Lacking leaders on the pitch, even or manager never opens his mouth on the line. So poor and timid.

Absolute rubbish 1st half.
This defense is a shocker. can't play Kobie and Tielemans together. They can't defend space. Give them a man to mark if you want to play them together. My goodness Baleba better be ready after break. Every single time they get the ball they looked dangerous.
Why? Defenders drop of ball carrier giving them time and space. Midfielders nowhere. Shaw constantly thinks he should help Martinez instead of looking at his own player. Total shambles at the back. Thank goodness for Lammens.

Ben Sesko, not in squad. He has a shin injury.
That was what kept him injured all summer. Really hope not as serious.
20 Sep 2026 16:26:02
I think there's more to it. Putting Rashford back in the lineup has disrupted the front 4. Cunha is not a 9 and being forced to play there to include Rashford. That obviously has forced Sesko out. His body language in the last game definitely showed signs.
20 Sep 2026 16:35:38
Cunha is not a LW or a RW either. He is a 10, so whether he plays as the 9 or LW, he is playing out of position. Cunha plays as a 9 for Brazil, so he is capable of doing it. Like it or not, Cunha has been poor and Sesko has done nothing when given the chance. Rashford has looked better than both.
20 Sep 2026 16:43:54
Looked better? Doing exactly what? Running with his head down and either running the ball out of play or running into players or not finding anyone in the box? Sesko scored when given a chance. that's his job.
20 Sep 2026 16:54:33
As if it couldn't be any worse, Vicki Sparks is commentating. Great.
20 Sep 2026 15:49:20
The same lineup again.
Cunha hasn't worked at number 9
Dalot has been in awful form
Shaw has cost us 3 goals already this season
Rashford has shown no end product
Lacey did more in 60 minutes than Mbeumo has shown all season
Surely after the results so far this season we need a shake up?!

I know this is going to sound outrageous, but the club is valued at around 6 billion. By reports there are 1 billion united fans across the world. If we could get 1 million of them to pledge 6 grand each we could buy the club. We could take ownership of this great club, and make it about the fans again. Kind of like the German model where the fans own the club.
Does anyone have any sort of knowledge in this kind of business model? If so I would be interested to hear from them.
I know there would be lots of problems, but I've been thinking about this a lot. We need new ownership and who better to make decisions than the fans, the people that actually have affection for this club, that don't want it for personal gain and to bleed it dry. That's all that's going to happen if a billionaire takes control.
20 Sep 2026 15:33:17
I think convincing any United fan to pay the Glazers £6, 000 for crippling the club with debt and turning the top club in the country into an also ran would be a difficult task. Not even to mention the chaos of having a million different owners battling to run things would inevitably result in.
20 Sep 2026 15:37:01
That would be an utter shambles, look at the arguments on this page!
Imagine there being millions and millions who all know best.
Clearly there would have to be elections to create management structures, who? how? where?
You can only win elections through making outlandish promises, look at our governments, but that is most certainly what you would get.
Democracy is all well and good, but it does give votes to an awful lot of stupid people.
Remember, you always end up with what you deserve after an election. Sadly, it is never what people really need or actually want.
