Go take a look at the Liverpool page, they are in meltdown. They won the league last year, yet some are questioning the manager.

They are also sooo disrespectful about us, hey ho, the arroganve success I guess.

19 Oct 2025 23:54:43
Hilarious. Some posters on there saying they should sack Slot if he doesn't win the next two games.

20 Oct 2025 00:52:07
It has been interesting watching his transformation from messiah to bald fraud in the space of four matches, ynwa.

20 Oct 2025 01:50:58
Let's get our own house in order before criticising others!

20 Oct 2025 07:00:20
Beautiful isn't it ?.

20 Oct 2025 07:20:49
I absolutely detest everything about them and most of them talk utter nonsense

Couldn'thappen to a nicer set

We actually showed some fighting spirit for once

Lets hope its a springboard and not another false dawn.

20 Oct 2025 07:48:42
On Liverpool page Carra, their reliable ITK, is hinting that all’s not well off the pitch and Slot might not last.

Taking nothing away from United’s win, Liverpool were pretty awful yesterday.

20 Oct 2025 08:45:46
Their reactions remind me of the likes of yourself ajh and the likes of fallguy and east stand nick.

20 Oct 2025 12:31:26
Why would you hate Liverpool? They’re our rivals, nothing more.

We all have friends, colleagues, and family who support them.

Rivalry, banter, and respect that’s what football’s all about.

20 Oct 2025 12:52:09
A lot of fans don't have respect for or club and team never mind anyone else. Good post grim.

20 Oct 2025 13:47:08
Wallace they weren't awful. They played like they've played most of this year and last. They created a lot of chances. The hallmark of that team is how clinical they are. They hit the post a few times yesterday. That was the difference. But they can't really complain about luck as they won 5 of their first 6 in injury time (might even be all 6 now I think of it) .

I posted some time ago that I was puzzled by some of their recruitment, particularly Frimpong. He's a super player but is a wingback so would suit us better than them. And getting Ekitike and Isak is going to cause problems as it's hard to fit in both. But they have really good players and I expect them to sort it out. Slot though needs to focus on their defensive structure which is a mess. We caused them havoc by just dragging VVD out wide.

19 Oct 2025 20:54:48
Evening, gooner here in peace to say well done for today and with grateful thanks lol

Best of luck for the rest of the season.

20 Oct 2025 00:20:19
Best of luck Sally, it was a great result for both of us.

20 Oct 2025 03:38:24
Gooner here as well, really well done on the win. Love watching Amad play for you lot, top talent. Mbuemo looking excellent too.

19 Oct 2025 20:20:44
What a game and what a place to get that elusive 2nd win in a row.

19 Oct 2025 18:35:44
Amorim out

Replace him with Slot.

19 Oct 2025 18:46:28
???.

19 Oct 2025 18:46:57
I'm very glad for him that he got that result today. It's totally taken the target from his back.

19 Oct 2025 19:24:26
Indeed. Tim and I have both posted but they have gone on the Match Posts page.

Amazing performance and result.

Where Are Glasgow Rangers Heading?

19 Oct 2025 07:39:03
{Ed's Note - Thestigno1 has posted a new article entitled, Where Are Glasgow Rangers Heading?

18 Oct 2025 21:44:52
Just a performance that we can be proud of The rest will take care of itself.

19 Oct 2025 16:29:54
WOW what a jet paced back 3 and midfield we got today.

19 Oct 2025 18:33:30
Amazing how many 'fans' open their mouths before a ball is even kicked.

19 Oct 2025 18:37:09
Won the match though didn’t we.

19 Oct 2025 18:45:47
That's why they don't let fans make decisions.

19 Oct 2025 19:02:25
Another new account there?

19 Oct 2025 19:25:04
Nah, wiggy has been around a long time.

19 Oct 2025 19:25:52
Good call UA!

18 Oct 2025 17:30:02
Big ange didn't get his feet under the door and he's gone! Tbf they've been shocking as were spurs last year. How we lost to them in a final I'll never know.

18 Oct 2025 19:11:42
Silly decision IMO after 8 games. What chance has anyone.

Forest should've been 2-0 at half time.

18 Oct 2025 20:22:04
Nothing surprises me anymore.
Why he sacked the previous manager in the 1st place is beyond me.
Their owner acts and reacts like a fan on the terraces.

18 Oct 2025 21:42:57
Marinakis is definitely knee jerk that’s for sure…now the players are onto their 3rd manager of the season and it’s still October. With regards to nuno, seems that the sacking was more to do with a personality clash than anything else.

19 Oct 2025 10:13:32
The owner fell out with Nuno and sacked him (which tells you everything about him as a man or in this case baby) .

They then hired Ange whose football philosophy is the absolute complete opposite of what Forest have been doing successfully under Nuno.

Part of feels like this was the owner trying to prove Nuno wrong by hiring someone who can then be successful doing the exact opposite to what he was doing. A childish two fingers up at Nuno as he walks away.

Yet obviously it fell flat as the team just haven't been built to play the type of football Ange plays, and he isn't the type of manager to change or move away from that style.

This is the problem when owners get too involved in the running of the club.

19 Oct 2025 13:46:38
Seeing that footage of the owner confronting Nuno on the pitch last season was pretty disgraceful. I guess the owner can do what they want with their toy but to get involved at that level and be questioning substitutions and team selection is frankly embarrassing. Not an Ange or Nuno fan at all btw. Chalk and cheese, but credit to both for each finding a way with their respective former teams.
By the way, what have today's bottom three clubs got in common Nuno lol.

19 Oct 2025 14:21:24
Shappy I'm not sure Marinakis is completely to blame for the Nuno debacle. Esporito Santo has a track record of lambasting club ownership and getting a big payoff because of his behaviour.

He publicly undermined the ownership and the director of football. In most areas that would be sackable too. Appointing Ange was an obviously stupid move though and I'd hold the owner to account for that rather than the Nuno sacking.

16 Oct 2025 22:23:20
The Women's team are continuing their fabulous start to the season.

Tonight was second ever game in Champions League proper, away to Atletico Madrid, Despite having a player sent off in the first half we won the game 1-0.

Whilst playing some good attacking football this season they have been excellent defensively, only 4 goals conceded in 11games played in total. Ultimately it's your defence that wins the trophies.

Seemingly, Tullis-Joyce (goalkeeper) was excellent again tonight. Biggest compliment you can give her, is that Mary Earps has not really been missed.

Let's hope they can keep this level of performance going.

Go Girl's.

17 Oct 2025 19:12:59
Ridiculous red card after VAR. Tackling leg on the ground studs down, trailing leg with foot pulled back. The knee caught the attacker. Really hardly a yellow never mind a red. Clearly influenced by the injury more than the tackle. Would never have been given in the men's game, unless the tackler was called Casemiro.

Tullis-Joyce is an excellent keeper. In attack they do tend to squander a few very good chances but the team has certainly not gone backwards despite the club getting a lot of criticism for its trades, and letting (assuming they had a choice) top players leave.

18 Oct 2025 15:56:09
newname, yes quite right, the red card was very, very harsh. The ref only gave a yellow and that was more than enough.

As for scoring, in WSL we are second highest scorers with 16 from 6 games, only behind City who have 17. Our attacking play has been much improved this season and that has been, in part, through the outstanding form of Jess Park. She was signed last summer as part of the deal with City when Grace Clinton signed for them.

Losing Clinton was disappointing but she only had 12 months left on her contract and it looked likely she would not renew so rather than potentially losing her for free (as we did with Russo and Earps) the sensible decision was taken to sell. As it turned out we received more for her than we paid for Park and given the form of Park many are saying we very much got the best of the deal.

You reference letting top players leave, assume you are referring to Russo and Earps, but that was very much not the case. Considerable effort was put into trying to get them to sign new deals, with significant salaries on offer, particularly to Russo.

They however had decided to leave, as was their right, but as you say the team has not gone backwards, indeed I think we have moved on and improved a fair amount.

18 Oct 2025 19:59:20
A manager who has had a tough time and im delighted for him. He has done a great job. Steady progress from a low base fighting against clubs that have had a better base.
Sounds familiar. Patience has been the key and they are beginning to get their rewards.

15 Oct 2025 21:12:03
Well, so sad to see. Mr. Manchester United has passed away!

The day after the Champions League final of 1999 a mega fan (somewhat hungover) from Bulgaria by the name of Zdravkov Levidzhov decided to change his name by deed poll to Manchester United.

Initially the authorities refused to allow this to happen and so began a 15 year battle to achieve his desired wish.

In 2014 he eventually got his wish, he officially became Manchester Zdravkov Levidzhov-United.

In 2011 he had a tattoo of the club badge made on the top of his head and in 2014, with the help of the Sun newspaper a private tour to the Theatre of Dreams was arranged. He was so overcome when he walked into the player's changing room he burst into tears.

His home in Bulgaria was very much covered in club memorabilia. He was quite the local celebrity with many visitors.

Whilst we hear the stories of 'tourist supporters' and the effect they have on ticket prices and seat availability we need to remember that many of these fan's are massively committed to the club. I doubt Mr United spent much of his time on fan websites constantly complaining, moaning and criticising every aspect of the club.

RIP Mr. United, 62 is to young to go, if you can try for a kick about with Georgie, Bobby and Denis.

16 Oct 2025 11:21:39
Nice piece.

15 Oct 2025 13:20:02
This scholes guy talks so much nonsense, he's turning into agbonlahor. I don't think he even played for us and he just has nothing good to say!

Latest he's sayin why buy sesko when we had Hojlund. Does scholes have dementia, does he not know that Hojlund couldn't do nothing for 2 years at our club!

15 Oct 2025 14:13:41
16 goals in his first season, 5 in the champions league and 10 in the premier league.

Hojlunds first season wasnt bad necessarily, i assume if Sesko hits 10ish league goals this season fans would be happy with that.

No doubt Hojlunds second season was a car crash but so was everyones apart from Bruno, who took penalties, no one scored any goals last season, its why we finished 15th lol.

Scholes overall point of replacing a young, talented raw striker with another young, talented and raw striker is fair and makes sense to me.

Only hope is that Sesko is physically more suited to the league and should be able to deal with premier league centre backs more easily but its too early to say.

15 Oct 2025 14:54:28
But, but, DSG, he "couldn't do nothing" ?.

15 Oct 2025 15:20:17
He had a decent first season. He scored 16 goals in total, 10 League, 5 Champions League and 1 FA Cup. A reasonable return for a 20/ 21 yr old in his first season in a new league and it was widely held the service he received was very much sub par.

In his second season his performances were much poorer and his goals return very poor. However, the service he received was much worse than his first season, indeed it was basically non-existent. He was totally hung out to dry, playing every game with no support or service.

How on earth was he supposed to flourish under those conditions? It was a no win situation for him and throughout his attitude was exemplary, no moaning or complaining just a desire to succeed. Remember he did not want to leave and was pretty much forced out.

While Scholes is quite capable of talking nonsense at times, there is some truth to what he said, although I think we were right to go for Sesko, but we should of kept Hojlund so they could of helped each other and provided competition for each other. I think we should have 2 strikers available and Zirkzee is more of a No 10.

Singh, I disagree with your assessment of Hojlund and think you need to look a bit deeper before being so dismissive.

15 Oct 2025 15:36:48
I don't think Rasmus is a bad player and u nevrr know he might go on to be a fantastic playrr but scholes always has something bad to say abt united at the moment.

The guy clearly wants youtube views or hits on his channel.

I like Hojlund but it wasnt like he was pulling any trees and for us to miss out on Sesko woulsve been bad.

Sesko already looks like a lot stronger and looks like a better footballer already.

Sometimes you have to create your own luck and Hojlund wasnt doing it I disnt see him takin people on or doing anything like that!

How come Zirkzee is still here and Hojlund gone?

Sesko has a very high cieling and I think he will go on to be a very good player for us.

Why I don't like people like Scholes is that he's a ex Unites player and the ay he talks about Amorim and our players it has a negarive effect on players and manager.

He should be pro United and not anti and these guys are in the media like parrots anyways they got told what to say!

15 Oct 2025 15:55:58
Ahhh Yes Paul Scholes needs youtube hits and media fame desperately lol.

Hes like the most down to earth former player we have and is a fan of the club and mostly echoing what we are saying.

Of course the club are being criticised by former players and even people who are not associated with the club. We are rubbish at the moment and deserve all the criticism we are getting.

One way to stop the criticism is to i don't know, win some football matches lol.

15 Oct 2025 15:58:07
Who cares what he says?
He is paid to give his opinion amd make noise.
If you listen to any of them and take what they say to beat your mad.
Merson failed manager. Badly
Neville failed managers. Badly
Keane failed manager Badly.
I think scholes did it for a few weeks at Salford Badly.
None are in a position where they have won anything as a manager.
I would love a manager live on sky after neville has been critical to ask neville 'if you think we are doing bad can you share from your expertise on what you did to turn things around at valencia'? i'd like to see him squirming at that one live on tv.

15 Oct 2025 16:08:57
I thought he made a reasonable point. We bought a young striker with potential and expected him to carry the team. He failed. So guess what, we shipped him out and have done exactly the same thing, bought a young striker with potential expecting him to carry the team. That was his point.

15 Oct 2025 16:20:51
Yes, Sesko looked good against Sunderland, especially first half, but why? ask yourself the question. It was because he got a lot of service. Also it was crystal clear Lammens had been instructed to go long and not just play short all the time and given that Ben is 6'5''that play's to one of his strengths.

Let's not forget in his first few games he was getting criticism from all the so called 'experts' and being compared to Rasmus. Then give him plenty of the ball and hey he looked good, strange eh!

More than any other player on the pitch your striker is dependent upon his teammates and without that support they will fail.

I have no doubt if Rasmus was playing for a team that produced opportunities he will score a decent amount of goals.

Singh, you refer to Zirkzee, I think he was injured during a part of the summer, hindering a potential sale, and there is much talk that he will leave in Jan.

15 Oct 2025 17:39:11
Singh are you sure it wasn't Schmeichel that said that? I've just read the BBC webiste and he says all those things.

15 Oct 2025 19:41:33
That OP aged well ?.

15 Oct 2025 21:27:24
In fairness, it is very easy to mistake Scholes and Schmeichel. Practically twins.

15 Oct 2025 21:48:18
Arnie and Danny divito.

15 Oct 2025 22:38:06
In fairness to Singh and his original post, he was quite right saying it was Scholes who said those things. As it turns out Schmeichel did also say things about Rasmus, which were carried by the BBC today.

16 Oct 2025 06:00:58
The ex players have earned a living criticising each manager, except of course Ole and Ruud. They, of course, understood the spirit of the club according to our ex players.

At a time when we get bland meaningless platitudes from managers, pundits and players, people want to read and hear louder noise. These ex players won’t be happy with anything until we win the league again, but they also know vanilla nonsense doesn’t earn money. Negative United comment will get more clicks, so never be surprised at pundits doing that.

As Tumble TW said, these ex players are sat in comfy chairs, paid to be critical, have little or no management or coaching ot tactical know how, yet think they know a player, yet don’t and attempts at management have failed. Occasionally they may make a good point but a broken clock is right twice a day. Managing any team can be tough, it became easier, as it does, for SAF when he had a squad of players he brought in, far easier to manage a team with those you selected and brought in and that’s true in business. Maybe that is a key point and not appreciated, all the managers since SAF have had Heinz 67 teams, mixes of previous managers, no one has built their own. When the team are the ones you as boss brought in, they are far easier to mould. You won’t hear that from the pundits.

16 Oct 2025 08:03:59
On the one hand, I can see where he’s coming from. Signing a young striker with potential when we already have a young striker with potential doesn’t make a lot of sense on paper.

However, after last season, I don’t see how we could have gone into this one with Hojlund as our main striker. Granted, a big part of his troubles in front of goal were down to poor service, and him feeling that he needed to drop deep to get on the ball, but we couldn’t run the risk of the same thing happening again this time around.

Personally, I’d have preferred to see us sign a more experienced striker that Hojlund could have learned from or keep Hojlund at the club to rotate with Sesko (I expect he’d have had a much better season this time out, with Cuhna and Mbuemo feeding him and the competition with Sesko forcing him to up his game), but we are where we are, and there’s no going back now.

With that in mind, I’m not really sure how helpful Scholes’ comments are.

16 Oct 2025 08:29:14
Did RA not have a worse record than Neville at Valencia, or did I read that wrong?

16 Oct 2025 23:12:40
Sorry gius. It is don't agree. Look at the actual number of times Hojlund was played the ball, but he couldn't find space, was always getting beaten in the air or in challenges and can't find a pass either and to be honest he couldn't trap a bag of cement.

Just not true he didn't get service, he often couldn't receive service because he didn't find or create space, and when you do nothing when the balls played to you, then players stop playing it to you, because you do nothing with it, so you become your own problem.

Lots of times he had the ball running at or beyond defenders but he just didn't make anything happen.

Id be pleased for him if it worked out, but blaming others for lack of service is folly when he'd rather wrestle a defender than be five yards away from tbem, his movement was shocking, he didn't pull players away to ensure others could progress and he was very often the reason transition broke down rather than a victim of it.

No sense rewriting history because he goes to the top team in Italy in a sub standard league and happens to have an okay, not good, an okay start.

17 Oct 2025 19:38:22
Still, the lad has scored 8 (I believe) for club and country since leaving. Not to be sniffed at, despite both being lower level than the Prem.

17 Oct 2025 21:33:09
Agreed spenno but ypu hit the nail on the head, the top team already fully built in a lower league, he was never going to push us on, he just wasn't good enough.

18 Oct 2025 13:14:00
It’s probably been said but his goal scoring only lasting a few weeks made it look like he wasn’t scoring for long periods. Added to the fact no data/ coach on earth after his first two seasons would have had him leading the line the next season and we couldn’t afford two.
On a similar point watching Bournemouth and Palace it’s fairly obvious where we go wrong upfront. They both break quickly but the guy on the wing is always looking for someone in the middle because the forwards know this there’s always at least two charging into the box for it. we have no patterns like this, Amad is very greedy and always goes for goal not matter how poor snd Dorgu struggles to get the ball across. Eventually players getting fed up of flogging themselves for nothing. Got to get the wingbacks crossing and not looking to come inside. In theory the front 3 are already there.
